OX-Água® 2ª Geração

OX-Água^® 2ª Geração is produced by OX-CTA, a Spanish company certified by ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2005 for conception, development, production and commercialization of biocides and chemical products for water treatment, environmental hygiene, food industry and animal care.

OX-Água^® 2ª Geração is a biocide with hydrogen peroxide as active substance.

Desinfectant solutions containing 0,5% of hydrogen peroxide are effective for disinfection of contaminated surfaces by virus of Coronavirus group (after one minute of contact), according to a paper published by Journal of Hospital Infection.

OX-ÁGUA® 2ª GERAÇÃO is not toxic to people, animals and environment. The product does not contain chlorine, it is environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable. The use of diluted solutions of the product does not release any odor.

The product is very concentrated. For preparation of 1.000L of disinfectant solution, it is only need 10L of OX-ÁGUA® 2ª GERAÇÃO.

OX-ÁGUA® 2ª GERAÇÃO is an effective biocide, it has been tested in independent laboratories and its complying to EN 1276, a EN 1650 e a EN 13697 has been demonstrated.

In order to comply the Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products, OX-CTA submitted an authorization process for the product OX-Água® 2ª Geração in the European system R4BP3, including Portugal through mutual recognition in parallel (NA-MRP), as biocide TP2, TP4 and TP5.

In Portugal, OX-Água^® 2ª Geração was evaluated and approved by EPAL until February 2023.
